【摘要】:1.1Theviscosity-temperaturechartcoveredbythisstandardisaconvenientmeansofplottingdataforestimatingtheviscosityofasphaltsatanytemperaturewithinalimitedrange.Conversely,thechartmaybeusedtoascertainthetemperatureatwhichadesiredviscosityisattained.1.2Thechartissuitablefororiginalasphaltcementsandforasphaltsrecoveredfromlaboratoryagingtestsorextractedfrompavements.1.3Thechartisbasedonaviscosityx2013;temperaturerelationshipthatcanbeplottedusinganyappropriatesetofunits.Forconvenience,chartsbasedonbothconventionalandSIunitsareprovided.1.4Therangeofthechartissufficientforroofingasphalts.1.5Therangeofthechartissufficientforliquidasphalts(bitumens)whoseviscosityexceeds0.01Pa.S(10centipoise).1.6ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
