【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscovervaultdoorsandvaultmodularpanels(foruseintheconstructionofvaultfloors,walls,andceilings)ofthetypeintendedforuseinfinancialinstitutions,commercial,industrialandmercantileproperties,andthelike,andthatarereliedupontoprotectthecontentsfromburglaryattack.1.2Theserequirementsareintendedtoestablishtheburglaryresistantratingofvaultdoorsandmodularpanelsaccordingtothelengthoftimetheywithstandattackbycommonmechanicaltools,electrictools,cuttingtorches,oranycombinationofthesemeans.Theratingsbasedonthenetworkingtimetoeffectentryareasfollows:a)ClassM-1/4hour;b)Class1-1/2hour;c)Class2-1hour;d)Class3-2hours.1.3Theserequirementsdonotcoverattackswiththeburningbar(thermallance)orexplosives.ThisneweditionofANSI/UL608,datedNovember30,2004,isissuedasaperiodicre-issuancetoensurethatUL'sStandardsremainup-to-datewithregardtoformatandeditorialissuessuchasrenumbering,repagination,correctionofeditorialerrors,correctionofcross-referencesandupdatingtitlesofreferencedStandards.
